Ciao!

My name is Melissa Vandermause; but everyone calls me Missy. Missy Thang I prefer, so let's get real, go with that. I used to be really cool. I do love to decorate, draw and paint, shop of course, and travel. Life moves a little slower at this point in my life, and I'm totally cool with that. I love nothing more than to have a wonderful homemade dinner with my fam, dairy-free, egg-free, mainly nut-free and tasteless, just kidding we are those people now and feel great, so bring it on allergies, you've changed my life for the better. In all seriousness, I'm married to the love of my life Greggy, he is my rock, the calm to my storm and truly a fulfillment of God's plan for my life. We have three adorable kiddos Brevinn, Vera & Van. I love being their mother and having the opportunity to nurture them; each stage has it's trials and triumphs and it's amazing to see little minds grow and mature. Van is quite a bit younger than our first two children and he is our JOY, we all live to just make that kid giggle! Enough about me....I'm so thrilled to have been able to capture memories for my clients for over 15 years!!! It's truly a gift to think back to all of the wonderful couples I've been able to capture on their wedding day, the babies I've gotten to hold and photograph when they were fresh out of the bod, and the families that have embraced my style and allowed me into their world to capture them in their playfulness! Life is beautiful, in its pain and trials and overwhelming joy, even in it's stillness and chaos, we can find it, the majestic beauty of God's creation! I'm grateful for this opportunity God has given me; to photograph as my life's work.
